This movie falls flat. I didn't have high expectations, which is a good thing, because it didn't even meet my low expectations. Kristen Bell is corny and the storyline fails to be interesting.

I love this movie it was so fuuny. There was good chemistry between actors and actress. It was a romantic comedy with a lot of heart. There was a good story behind it. Josh Duhamel was super HOT! I loved watching him run into things, Kristen Bell was fab and she was super sweet. All the things she dose to Josh and the thigs she makes him do with a smile is laugh out loud funny.

Really funny movie. Yes it was predictable but very very sweet and funny. I saw it with bunch of friends and they all liked it too. I thought it was going to be terrible but it wasn't. I guess it depends on your point of view.

When in Rome lacked in the story line. They should have made the movie a bit longer giving time to build on the relationship between Beth (Kristen Bell) and Nick (Josh Duhamel) In addition, the movie was very predictable. But then again almost all romantic comedies are. Only good thing about the movie were the few funny scenes.

Uh, an okay movie. I found it quite predictable and the acting wasn't at all that good. The acting had as much depth as a kiddie pool. I would recommend waiting until it comes out on DVD and renting it.

Did not go to this movie through choice. Expected it to be bad and it was. Josh Duhamel's acting has no depth. I barely felt his presence. Scenes supposed to be funny are ridiculous and cliched and no, not funny. The premise of the movie is cute but... well, the scenes are not. When I see movies like this I really wonder how these movies can make it to big screen. Some screenwriter is actually making money off of this. I had a hard time deciding what to rate Avatar and Shutter. I gave them a 7 though I was disappointed in both. I still thought that the movies were worth watching. But I wondered if 7 had been too high. Now considering that movies like this - When in Rome -exist, and the rating is only from 1 to 10, I think 7 was okay to give those movies because atleast 4 points should separate those from this. I wanted to rate this movie a 2 but then the "Poor movie, not recommended" that went along with a rating of 3 seemed to suffice. Don't waste your money.

I was reluctant to see this after the reviews, but frankly this is a much better, funnier and more enjoyable movie than the reviews reflect. Not Oscar-worthy, but very entertaining, well written and well acted. I'd give it an 8. Music only worth a 6.

When I see people give this movie a 10, I have to go back and see if we are talking about the same movie. This is a horribly dumb romantic comedy that was so stupid that you really have to wonder how they got most of these actors to be apart of it. I watched it with my wife (who hated it)and the tree ladies who sat in front of us said it was the worst movie they have seen in a long time. Dax Shepard saved it from getting a 1.

A few laughs and Josh Duhamel is easy on the eyes, but the threesome of Danny Devito, Dax Sheppard and the Napoleon Dynamite guy could have been so much funnier. Missed the boat on those scenes. Did anyone else notice that all the women in the movie were about the size of 14 year old girls?

Well, it was entertaining especially because Napoleon and Pedro were in the movie, but beyond that it's nothing too exciting. I mean, the love story is cute and Josh Duhammel is NOTHING sad to look at, but the whole story is kind of silly and typical. It's a fun little thing for girls to go see on a boring night, but otherwise I would wait for the DVD.

We were quite open to a Sarah Marshal-esque comedy, put cynicism aside and looked forward to Josh Duhamel. Then the movie started. It seems to have been written by an 11 old, the actors are doing all they can with the terrible lines they have. The supporting cast of good actors are stuck in caricatural roles with no where to go. Slapstick comedy and old clichés only. It was all I could do not to stab myself in the eye to keep me from watching this. Thankfully I was wearing glasses. Go re-rent When Harry Met Sally or Sarah Marshall.

Admittedly I am not a fan of the romantic comedy genre, but I went hoping to see some nice Roman photography, since I am planning a trip there this year. It turns out most of the aciton is actually in New York. That's O. K. as I love that city too, but not even that could save this disaster. A few of the odd-ball and occasionally funny characters we are introduced to come close but ultimately, poor acting, writing and screenplay doom this movie. It will leave you running for your thesaurus looking for alternate ways to say awful.
