Loved it, Luc Besson rocks once more, and John Travolta is way to cool in this movie. Lots of action great.

What a waste of time and (of my) money! I can't help but thinking that Luc Besson should stop ruining movies by writing such lame and predictable scenarios. Didn't do anything good since Fifth Element! Image quality sucks, story is sooo predictable, characters are completely empty. And of course, everyone in the movie except the two main characters is pictured as stupid! The French are incompetent, the Arabs are mean and cruel. You don't even get to see Paris. And why would they carry the stupid vase for half the movie when most of the time, it could have stayed in the (pimped, of course!) truck?

I expected it to be so much better and a bit longer of a movie considering the actors in this flick. I went to see it because of John Travolta and Jonathan Rhys Meyers but it left me wanting more.

This is a gun shooting action packed flick with what seems to be bullet proof stars. If you like brain dead action this is for you. JT plays a good agent with little regard for rules ethics or class and whatever you do don't take away his energy drink!

Unfortunately a racist, racist, and racist movie, so disappointing and they are trying to be Heros by insulting 2 cultures or more and I guess Americans are still messing with Muslims feelings and not showing the real Islam to the people, I never get their media always fighting Islam but not only terrorists, they should show the difference between real Muslims and those who use Islam for terror if they want to show bad Muslims or murderers so ignorant people don't think this is Islam , a low class biased movie. As usual showing Americans as heroes and the rest of the world are bunch dumbs and jokes.

I went to see it cause I wanted to watch an action type movie and this was all that was out. I like John Travolta and he was fun to watch in this movie. The plot and the acting were weak at times but overall it was entertaining to watch and I enjoyed it.

Usually movies that make less than $10 Mllion opening weekend (like this one did) are lousy but I decided to give it a chance because: 1)I like fish-out-of-water / incompatible-buddy action films and 2)It was written by the normally reliable Luc Besson (Transporter 3, The Fifth Element, Leon) There is a large body count and endless mayhem, but you have to have an interesting and understandable story which, unfortunately, this movie lacks.

Had all the elements : comedy , action packed , romance , twists and turns however a little predictable. All-in-all an excellent movie. One of John Travolta's best except for Face-Off, Broken Arrow and Pulp Fiction, it ties swordfish in my mind. My actual Rating is 8.3 but put 9 as I wanted to get the 7 rating increased. I'm happy I viewed this flick on the big screen.

Pierre Morel gave a strong direction throughout this film. John Travolta and Jon Rhys Myers were spectacular duo. The evidence is clear there many twists and turns. It is definitely a keeper. $$$

John Travolta channels Vinnie Barbarino and Bruce Willis in this funny action movie. Along with British actor Johnathon Rhys Meyers (best known for playing Henry the Eighth on Tudors) He takes the viewers on a fast paced bloodbath chasing drug dealing terrorists through the seedy side streets of Paris. Rhys Meyers needs more work on his american accent but his acting was enjoyable and Travolta's bad guy persona from The" Taking of Pelham 123" is alive and well.

Travolta is a good actor... but... he has to realize that he is a bit too robust to be playing a Kung Fu gun slinger. He has had success in similar movies like Faceoff, Broken Arrow, Taking Phelam, Blow out, Swordfish and Punisher but it is time to let others take on this type of role. They change James Bond every few years Johnnie. Stick to Be cool roles. As for this action flick, it was completely predictable, it was cheesy, stereotypical, and flawed on many levels. The action is constant and good but does not white wash the storyline which is phenomenally dumb. The other lead male is portrayed as a genius at the start of the movie, but admits later in the movie that he knows absolutely nothing about his fiancee... and he works for a "spy" company? Wouldn't even his company check out every person in his life. I know the RCMP do. So it is a popcorn flick, park your brain at the door.

Not just your run of the mill spy/ terrorist action movie. There is actually a good story here, but one with quite a twist and never a dull moment. John Travolta cracks more than a few skulls in this flick as he steals the spotlight. He plays the part of a good, invincible, though bad ass agent with perfection. His performance as Wax reminded me somewhat of his character in Pulp Fiction but with greater intensity. I also liked his quick witted one-liners... they were sly and comical. Aside from that, the movie's plot is smart and keeps you on a fast ride. There is good pacing, great direction throughout, with plenty of surprises ahead. Not to mention it's full-blown action in just about every scene and you are automatically lost in the thick of it all. On another note there is a lot of unspeakable violence in this film... lots of endless shooting, killing, and fighting, but it plays out well with the story anyway. You may also find the language pretty rough, but personally I enjoyed this movie. The combination of a few good stunt scenes and solid acting make this show a must-see. If you're a fan of action flicks, then definitely check out "From Paris With Love"... you'll be glad that you did.
