If you liked 21 Jump Street, you will also enjoy this movie, as it provides what many people liked about the first film. The performances are terrific. Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill have excellent on-screen chemistry. They are extremely funny together, providing comedic contrast to one another, and have become one of my favourite on-screen duos in the past few years. Ice Cube is also great, and has many hilarious moments. The entire cast demonstrate perfect comedic timing, and I don't think the movie could have worked as well as it does without these performers in their roles. While the plot is somewhat of a rehash of the first film, the movie makes up for it by being self aware, and delivering clever scenes by poking fun at itself for being a sequel, and a movie in general. The pacing is near-perfect, as the movie is not too long, nor does it feel incomplete. The jokes are well placed throughout the film, and the movie stays funny without any awkward, slow sequences. If you see this 22 Jump Street, I recommend you see it with friends, as comedies are better when seen by a group providing you a chance to all laugh and have fun together. 22 Jump Street is a great comedy, as long as you are a fan of raunchy comedies, and I highly recommend that you check it out, AND that you stay for the credits.
