Bizarre, little British black comedy features motormouth Steve Coogan as (amusingly) egotistical, down-on-his-luck alter-ego Alan Partridge caught in the middle of armed stand-off. Comedy consists of Partridge's endless patter, bad puns (are there any other kind?), pratfalls and mugging at the camera (he does everything but lick the lens) There are comments to offend everyone (eg. "Never mind Jesus, for me, Neil Diamond is the real King of the Jews." (!)) And watch for the scene where Partridge is literally caught publicly with his pants down. Quite a bit of naughty fun and worth seeing.
