Despite being billed as science-fiction, this is really a fantasy movie, about as realistic as Lord Of The Rings. Nevertheless it looks great, and if you can turn off your brain while watching it, it's quite enjoyable. I'm still not convinced that 3-D is a worthwhile innovation however... what we really see is simply an illusion of depth. However, the melding of live action and CGI is masterful... we may be no more than a few years away from being able to replace actors with stunt players wearing CGI 'masks'...
