I saw the entire series of BASEBALL by Ken Burns which comes in a boxed set of 13 or so individual episodes (eras) of the sport. Ken Burns introduces us to baseball pre-1900 and then proceeds to enlighten us with over 100 more years of America's great pastime. The series ends with the 2008 season of baseball. This is a loving tribute to the sport, the great stars through every decade, plus the magical games and plays that have remained in the public conscience because of their greatness. It leaves us with the grand aura which is baseball, its great legends and a mountain of baseball statistics that every enthusiast must come to know. Absolutely a magnetic 13 hour plus documentary which should be seen. I devoured every minute of this glorious series with the utmost relish being a baseball fan since I was a kid.
