    Beneath the Harvest Sky

Beneath The Harvest Sky is a top notch dramatic thriller from first time film makers Aron Gaudet and Gita Pullapilly. It was extremely well received at TRIBECA! Very pleased at its warm reception! This movie rolls several genres into one and how remarkably well it works. The directors wrote their own script. This helps enormously! First off Harvest Sky is both a coming of age movie combined with a road film in its own peculiar way. Small town boys/friends by the Maine-Canada border, Domenic and Caspar need a new life! The film, in turn, leads us down a slippery road and comes to show us the American Way of life in all its unsavoury forms. The 2 young men have made features before but are as yet not that well known. They give outstandingly good performances. What is evident is that the film was made with much thought and a good deal of love.
