    Calvary

Calvary is undoubtedly a masterpiece in slow motion with a direct line which never loses its sight, that of the Calvary of another Jesus (Brendan Gleeson as the Father) in the cross to atone for the sins of others, it’s all a matter of time to get to the crucifixion with modern methods. Calvary builds up as the days pass by, one by one while the life in town continues as usual with its daily occurrences, almost monotonous except for the arrival of Kelly Reilly which blood is linked to his. Memorable moments pass together father and daughter while he continues the "cleansing” of his town of human's failings. The ocean witnesses the bathing of the sand with blood by another kind of a lost ‘shark’, one wounded inside, one damaged by circumstance.
