Hugo Weaving stole the show with a perfect accent and an outstanding villainous character. Tommy Lee Jones was amazing, as usual. Great cameo by Sam Jackson. Cool link to iron man. Awesome story, plot, character development, comedic relief, suspense, and a killer twis-ending. When it started, I thought it'd be another crappy Hollywood-does-Nazi cliche crammed piece of... but, thankfully, they managed to use the period without beating an already dead horse, Nazi Gemany. It's also one of the few movies I can remember that actually acknowledges that Nazis were a separate entity from the rest of the German public; they held Germany hostage for many years, much like the Taliban in Afganistan today. What a great movie. I'm really looking forward to next summer... stay til the very end to find out what I mean.

I really liked your reference to Nazi being separate from the german population during the war. The movie was okay, but not worth a 10. Probably a 7.5 There was actually acting. There were times when the filming looked like the Dick Tracy movie. I saw it at our Movie Mill for $3.00 and it was a cheap afternoon out. Did not really know what to expect as I saw no reviews or ads. I did not mind that it dragged a bit but you have to get the characters and the story line in. I would love to see what ended up on the cutting room floor with this one. Thanks for your analysis. Big B.
