This is a fine movie which finally tells the World War II story on the island of Cephalonia in Greece. The movie shows the passion of the Greek people and the reluctance of the Italians to be allies with the Germans. Of course, having Hollywood involved, a fictional love story is thrown in the midst of it all which was not really necessary. Beautiful cinematography, proper editing, appropriate costumes, effective set design, and good storytelling of this history are big pluses of this film.
