    Cat Ballou

A 'crazy yarn' of a young woman out for justice who in turn becomes quite the infamous woman herself. It's a funny western with classic scenes that have become part of film folklore. Nat King Cole and Stubby Kaye sing at intervals during the film as a way of re-capitulating or informing us of the plot line. Lee Marvin, in a double role, one as a drunk won what I perceived to be a surprise Oscar. I am not a fan of this western spoof.
