This long, boring, tedious, pretentious attempt at New Age "philosophy" was inane as propaganda and a total failure as science fiction. The actors mumbled their insipid lines for reasons unknown, and the only thing that saved this wretched waste of time from a rating of "1" was some nice shots of scenery and of a tall ship. This preachy tripe will appeal to those who confuse propaganda with entertainment; all others would be smart to avoid it.

You took the words right out of my mouth: only the visuals save this film. A lot of pretentious dialogue interspersed with a string of hoarsely mumbled sayings, no doubt trying to sound "oh so profound". And nearly three hours of it. Dull, dull, dull...
