I am not a fan of smash-bang disaster flicks, but the reviews for this film, including those on Cinemaclock, suggested that this film might have some redeeming features that would make it worth seeing. Not so! We saw a disaster flick dressed up as morality play, featuring apes who at one moment could only grunt in dialog that had to be supported by sub-titles, to at another moment understanding and verbalizing abstract thoughts regarding love, peace and war. And interspersed with enough technical non-sequiters to destroy any semblance of believability. And the human actors contributed essentially nothing to the film. Save your money.
