Elysium

I was very disappointed by this movie. I expected it to have much greater depth than it did. It ended up being a collection of rotten people vying for power. Not very interesting, really. The anti-hero (which is the sort of character Damon plays) has been done to death. It's one of the most tired cliches Hollywood refuses to abandon. I also got very annoyed by the unending hail of f-bombs that saturated the movie. IMO constant profanity from a character just makes that character seem really stupid. And I don't find stupid characters particularly entertaining - no matter how many people they shoot, blow-up, or torment. Bleh! Apart from the CGI, this movie was a wash-out. See something else.
