    Everest

Everest is a frightening depiction of the lengths that people go through to claim the right of boasting having climbed the highest mountain in the world. Of course that right doesn't come without a price of admission and in some cases, that price is their life. Everest does a tremendous job of putting you at the scene and making you feel what it's like to be up there and the perils and struggles that come along with the journey. It's curious to note that Jake Gyllenhaal is listed as the star of the movie when he really isn't, he's more of a secondhand character in it. The actors are magnificent and the story takes you on a journey well worth the price of admission on the big screen (I saw it in IMAX.)
