I see a lot of people are saying it was 'slow' or not like the Bible. I can see what they mean to a point. However, I did read the reviews before I went to see it, and thought they did a really good job with the movie. I'm NOT a Christian Bale fan, because he usually mumbles through a movie, but he was really good as Moses. Joel Edgerton was excellent too as Ramses II. There were a lot of other actors that surprised me in this film too. I did find the ending a little spotty. But I honestly did not feel the movie was too long. Before I knew it, it was over, then I saw how long it was. I'd have to give the credit to Christian. He was very riveting. If you expect a verse by verse in the Bible play, don't see it, but if you want to enjoy a good movie, go. This is from a girl with a strict Catholic upbringing.
