I rarely give any movie a 10 rating, but this one deserves it. I found exceptionally strong performances from Sandra Bullock as the mother, and veteran actor, Max von Sydow as the grandfather. But Thomas Horn as the boy was simply amazing, and most definitely should be nominated for an Oscar. The movie is a tearjerker along the backdrop of 9/11, but is at the same time a showcase for humanity and the pain and struggle that many of us must endure to make sense of tragedies that are beyond understanding.
