    Fed Up

I mean the movie didn't express any ideas that I didn't know. It's pretty simple really and the comparison made to tobacco is pretty accurate. Food can be addictive. The role of the food industry is to process foods in ways that make them highly addictive. Sugar is one way of doing that that has devastating effects. Add in processed fats and you've got a powerhouse of addiction that can rival any street drug. Sounds disgusting when you think about it but industry's job is to make it appealing and they are good at it. The fact that the message gets out is great because really no one can outcompete industry when it comes to marketing and lobbying. Information is the only affordable recourse and the good will of few. So spread the word as that's the only way to win. And don't just spread it, live it. Lead by example, against the current. It's the only way.
