If you have ever been to New Mexico which is truly Georgia O'Keeffe country and able to witness her amazing canvases, this film will ring more true in your heart simply by knowing the woman and her works, everything she ever stood for. I did enjoy the film, both Joan Allen and Jeremy Irons giving convincing performances but on the whole, the film played too much like a melodrama more than great drama. For a woman as intelligent as Georgia O'Keeffe, I really didn't care for the initial rather naive outlook on her part as regards her career and works. Beware the ultimate flatterer!
