While it is not a feel good movie it is worth seeing. Lily Tomlin was excellent as Grandma whom you do not know if you should love or hate. The movie takes place over a day. We come to know more about grandma, why she is so bitter and that she really has not grieved Viola. The scene between Lily Tomlin and Sam Elliot is outstanding. We find out that Lily's character was married for a short time. There is some humour but it really isn't a comedy. At the end the dysfunctional family is a little less so. There is no trace of Ernestine in this movie.
