This was a very interesting movie, well-worth seeing in my view. On the face of it," Gunless" is just another western -- and not a very good one. BUT, after a few minutes, you realize that this film is trying to Teach a lesson on life, specifically that violence, particularly gun violence is not the way to solve conflicts. But the film is not "preachy"; the lesson is subtle, and there are some laughs along the way to keep it from getting too serious. My only complaint is that the female leads are much too gorgeous; Sienna Guillory is a good actress and she carries her role well, but to really fulfil the role, she should have been have been much bigger and tougher. And -- oh, yes, the scenery in B. C.'s Okanagan Valley is also gorgeous.
