Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters

Take it for what it is: Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters. A cool twist on an old fairy-tale, and it's a lot of fun. Great action, effects, one-liners, and the 3-D was well done. Normally the 3-D is annoying, but they put it to good use. Some good suspense throughout, and it doesn't make the mistake of taking itself too seriously. I laughed a lot, jumped in my seat and was engaged through the entire film. A tiny bit of nudity and swearing makes it even more fun. It was a matinee, so the theatre was empty, but everyone there was laughing and cheering when bodies exploded. What a great time; I can't wait to see it Tuesday with a full theatre. Well worth the money, and the best movie I have seen in a long time. Be prepared for a great ride.
