HER, IS THE WEIRDEST MOVIE EVER, almost unbelievable. But it is the future of things to come. Virtual alienation at all levels. "Man should not be alone" So, they say. He created Eve. But Eve as an OS, Wow! That defies all Evolution. And shows the nuttiness of being at its best. Loneliness, solitude, despair, everybody is hooked to something these days. The person to person communication is fading away at a rapid unstoppable pace to a risible outcome. Maybe in the future man will be an Island and woman another island enclosed in Programs unable to get out and communicate with each other, and believing that this virtual exchange it's real. Human contact (Physical) will no longer be necessary because the mind will switch to an alter ego, and the doppelganger will exist at every corner in the city of life where the brain submits to ALTERED states of consciousness. Only an upgrade in a program may free you leaving you desolate with the only comfort of a real person as a companion. And then back to the beginning again, all Virtual for a change. But what an update of the human mind, a rebellion against everything virtual? It reminds me of The Matrix. It reminds me of mental Institutions. It reminds of "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest". It reminds me of "The Shining". When the mind has lost its compass it is impossible to find it in parallel universes. What is needed is not to lose our human reference point.
