    Her

How many times have we been badgered with the idea of computers become increasingly intelligent to the point that they evolve to surpass humans and take over the world? How many more times can we, as an audience, be expected to enjoy these types of stories? Take your standard artificial intelligence / sci-fi film and add in a few romantic elements to get what we see in this movie. A man who falls in love with his computer because the programmers "made" her so "super-real" that she becomes even more "fun" to be with than a human girlfriend. I mean come on, give me a friggin' break! It was a nice try, but this was not a fun movie for me. Sure, there were some interesting concepts and original twists, not to mention a few touching moments between the sexy and talented star-studded cast, but that was not enough to keep me interested, I fear. The ending was not bad, but on the whole this movie was more of a chore to watch than anything else as it dragged on and on exceeding the 2-hour mark. Some people obviously liked it, but not me. I'm sorry.
