This is a renter. It could not make up its mind if it wanted to be pure slap-stick comedy or not. There were comedic moments and all of these were purely physical. There needed to be more cleverness to the gags. The bad guys were kept on the periphery of the storyline and had no impact on the story or humour. Both leads are good actors and performed in character. But even The Three Stooges set up some of the gags or had intricate timing BEFORE the "punch" line. I found that it did drag on during their road trip and quite abruptly the movie was over with a nice tidy ending... Maybe a few Homer Simpson groin shots would have helped... Whoop whoop whoop whoop...
