I had high hopes, given Pixar's great CV. Inside Out's conceptually interesting, very clever, a stellar piece of creativity at an art form level. Still, it's a bit arduous, doesn't flow readily. More over, some of the main characters are not past annoying. Not all the way through, but enough that adults would find trying. Comments by others about this film being a tall order for young children, I'll agree with. Visually well wrought and cute enough, maybe too much so. Pixar has done, and will do better. The "Lava" short preliminary, was true to Pixar's best work, and better than the feature.
