    Julius Caesar

JULIUS CAESAR is the best adaptation of a Shakespearean play that I know of and I have seen plenty. The B + W cinematography of the early 50's takes nothing away from the monumental film. Filled with truly great stars, all from MGM, Brando as Mark Antony in an Oscar Nominated performance, it captures Shakespeare far better than how one witnesses it on stage. It's all because of the direction of the great Joseph L. Mankiewicz. If you love Shakespeare YOU CANNOT MISS THIS 1953 ADAPTATION! If you don't appreciate Shakespeare, HERE IS THE CHANCE TO SEE HOW GREAT IT CAN ALL BE ON SCREEN!
