I could describe the movie with one word: boring. Jurassic Park, Part 2... what could go wrong? Once again you get the broken american family drama, but this time with two kids. Think of any stereotype, it's there. Chris Pratt was okay but didn't give the character much charisma. What you get is a boring lead, two stereotyped kids, and a crappy love story. So what is left? If you were wondering about the "WOW" factor involving the dinosaurs and the landscape, forget it, it's not part of the movie.
If you are wondering, this is not nostalgia talking, and no, I was not expecting a masterpiece. This is just another average movie with great CGI. There are stupid jokes throughout the movie. At many occasions, I actually heard the whole audience laughing at old tired movie jokes I've heard a thousand times, leaving me to wonder if I was normal or dead inside. The only thing that triggered my interest were the raptors, and that wasn't enough to salvage the movie. This is one of the very few movies I literally questioned myself whether or not I would sit through the whole viewing or if I should leave. Judging from everybody in the theater, this movie is totally worth seeing, bro, like it's the bestest movie of 2015. However, If you are somewhat of a cinephile and carry a big luggage in term of movie experience (and you have taste), AVOID!

Maybe people like the movie for what it is. Simply entertaining sci-fi movie. Nothing more. You should do the same instead of dissecting the film for flaws.
