    Click here to show this review.     So we all know the story. The rating is for what was done with it. Peter Jackson's film is truly an amazing spectacle to see! The visual effects are top notch. And the film maker achieves also in touching our hearts. How the heck did they get that ape to New York anyway? And where did dinosaurs come from in the 1930's in Singapore? And how did fighting oversized insects have anything to do with the plot? Ok fine, it's a fantasy. Makes one want to go out a buy an ape for their very own!
