The biggest compliment I can give this movie is that it really doesn't feel like a movie. It feels like a glimpse into a growing teenager's life and her quest to discover herself through sexuality, etc... WARNING: This movie is both intense and explicit. If you are judgmental about sexuality/homosexuality on screen do not watch this movie. The actors in this movie deserve praises for their portrayal, it hardly feels acted at all. From the tears to the sex to the emotions of love, everything feels genuine. Completely genuine. I'm not sure how they got all that into these roles but once I started watching this 3h movie, I could not stop. It watches itself so easily. It is a french film but so well done. I look forward to watching the lead actress in many roles in the future. Really an excellent film. If you are looking for that little foreign gem outside of mainstream Hollywood, look no further.
