A really stellar movie based obviously on the bank leveraging their assets on risky investments. Pretty much the mortgage crisis. But the movie is actually pretty good. A cast of strong young actors with veterans like Kevin Spacey & Jeremy Irons. Everyone looking for an economics thriller will feel content. The movie misses slightly the mark when you basically understand the problems within the first 30 min and the rest is just plot development. So the intrigue isn't really as strong as it could be. You don't really feel a buildup for the climax and suspense all the way through. Nevertheless, a well acted, well produced movie worth watching. Plenty of talent in this one.
