    Moneyball

This movie is ironic in the extreme because the film, like the Oakland "A's" baseball team, tried to become a champion using a formula, but in the final inning/reel, it proved unable to win the last game; the one that matters most. The acting was flat, the "side stories" were dumped in without much thought as to what impact they had on the movie, and the stereotypes were pretty funny considering that this was supposed to be a movie about abandoning stereotypical ways of doing business. The movie, like the team's management, was a good idea that was poorly executed.
