I am not a huge fan of Shakespeare. I like his plays, and love his way of words, but his stuff is a little boring to me. So, walking in to Much Ado About Nothing, I was ready to be a little bored. Well, I was very entertained, and I actually could say that I loved it! THE GOOD: Superb acting, artsy, hilarious moments, emotional parts, interesting, great soundtrack, loveable characters, fantastic way of putting Shakespeare into modern day. THE BAD: There were some parts that I found unnecessary or irrelevant. THE UGLY: I was very bored half way through. It was due to the 2 hour run time and the bizarre pace. OVERALL: Joss Whedon's Much Ado About Nothing is an excellent modern day adaptation that suffers from bizarre pacing. See it if you love Shakespeare or are in the mood for a good romantic comedy. RATING: 8.25/10.
