Being a former citizen of Winnipeg and having seen 'The Saddest Music in the World' I avoided this film until a screening last eve at the Toronto Cinemateque. As the film progressed I became more and more involved with its story, its characters and its Provincialism until tears of laughter were running down my cheeks. That last comment is an exaggeration, but if you see this film you'll know exaggerations are allowed.
