    Never Fear

Interesting film to see if only from the standpoint that it was one of Ida Lupino's first directorial efforts, somewhat of a first for Hollywood female directors. Sally Forrest and Keefe Brasselle and Hugh O'Brian head the cast of this 1949 effort in which plenty goes wrong but the constancy of love and devotion remain. Miss Lupino should be heralded for taking on the director's cap and leaving acting behind as a secondary career. She would later come to television with husband Howard Duff in a sitcom about a Mrs. And Mr., wife and hubby.
