An under-rated film by Oliver Stone covering the many miseries of the Nixon White House. Anthony Hopkins was a remarkable Nixon in an Oscar Nominated Performance and the great Joan Allen as Pat Nixon, also an Oscar Nominee. The drama of the piece is tough, well written and superbly acted by a gifted list of supporting players all contributing their bit in this epic drama of well over three hours. This is a film that should be seen as it portrays history in a fundamentally correct way.
