    Novocaine

I found this to be an entertaining, kind of quirky, suspense film with a few laughs thrown in for good measure. The entire cast gives excellent, believable performances especially Helena Bonham Carter and Steve Martin. This film must be the first movie in Hollywood history that deals intently with the subjects of dentists and dentistry - rather banal subjects for a Hollywood movie which will probably hurt this film at the box-office and may explain why this film got no promotion. Perhaps because of the subject the Direction and Editing are especially well done which helps the movie move along at a nice pace and keeps the subject and action interesting. By the end of the film you will understand that dentistry is key to the resolution of this quite good film and was worth dealing with as an integral subject.
