Pan

At first I was skeptical about seeing this in the cheap theatre because of the 6/10 rating seen elsewhere. But I've seen the trailer and it was recommended by others. I looked on this site and the reviews were alright, mostly positive. So I gave it a shot and at the beginning of the movie I was like I'm either going to like this or really hate this, turns out, now I know not to trust reviews on the sites because everyone has different opinions. Perhaps people were complaining because they expected the movie to be more like the original peter pan cartoon, sure it has a twist. It's quite popular nowadays to turn classic cartoons into live action films. This isn't like Maleficent, it's not about the antagonist's point of view, just focuses solely on Peter, and how Peter becomes Peter Pan. This movie exceeded my expectations and I think it's definitely worth the admission price. If you have yet to see this film, it's still available at the cheap theatres. I don't get why the film was taken out of the first run theatres after one month, only one month. Normally, the number of weeks that a film stays in the movie theatre is an indication of the quality of the film, but not in the case of Pan.
