The film is a great slice of life, told with tons of potty humour. It's not offensive though, in that they talk about it clinically as opposed to a slapstick fashion, and the tale is more about a great father and daughter relationship with its normal troubles. I can't remember the last time Amitabh had such a great role, and gave this memorable a performance. As for Deepika, I am amazed she has become such a great performer; she was a complete non-actor in Om Shanti Om just a few years ago. Moushoumi and Irrfan are great too. Well worth two hours of your time.
