    Quartet

The redeeming value of the film to appreciate the contribution of our elders. To value all life at all ages whether young or old. It's too bad it's at the expense of foul language and sexual humor. These seasoned aged actors are grasping to the limelight to teach the hardship of growing old. I always wonder why we seek the shallow messages of life trying to find meaning in things (fame, music, people) fleeting and ignore the big questions around death, mortality or immortality, God and life after death? Is "all the world a stage and we are merely players"? Or is there more? Other positive elements to the film are friendships, acceptance and forgiveness. The pace and script just seemed to drag. Don't miss it on my account & rating as it seemed many enjoyed it.
