    Seventeen

    Reviewed by

A true enough portrait of teens from the early eighties both black and white, male and female who disrespect their parents as well as teachers. We are in a total teen world which to most young people would suggest something very sprite and hip. What the film purports to do best is elicit all the middle class prejudices and morasses against the working class which hardly any major studio or independent producer would ever attempt to do.
