Sicario

I'm not sure whether this movie is drama, suspense or pseudo-action. In fact, I think the director didn't really know what the movie should be. You get a lead actress for who you don't care, and if you expect character development, there isn't any. Seeing Del Toro in this flick, I couldn't help myself but to compare the movie to Trafic (another drug movie with Del Toro) Only this time his character was not so pure. I didn't find the movie captivating, nor did I find it boring. The girl I went with almost fell asleep 3 times during the showing. To be honest, I wish this would have been an action movie centered toward Del Toro's character.
