Now this was a let down. I am not sure why. Very meaty topic. But the problem is the actors playing the people do not really look the part. In fact the leading lady distinctly has a very educated accent when she says 'accident'. If the movie purported to show the hardships encountered by daily wage earners, it is not gritty enough. If it purported to show India to someone who's completely unfamiliar with that side of it, maybe it works. It felt like it stretched on.
