I liked it! I loved seeing Diane Keaton, Robert DeNiro and Susan Sarandon - as I am a huge fan of each of theirs. I enjoyed Topher Grace and Katherine Heigl's performances too (which is a first for me) Even the family home was gorgeous - as were all the stars and the clothes - now I have Connecticut country house real estate envy. Yes the plot was more than a tad predictable and more slapstick than I had imagined, but I enjoyed this lighthearted, ridiculous rich east-coast American family romp. The only weak points were performances by both Amanda Sigfried and Robin Williams. However, bravo to the director for reigning in Mr. Williams which has never been done before (which made his onscreen time less manic and far more bearable than usual for me) It's spring so if you need a lighthearted laugh - especially as wedding season is fast approaching.
