The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe

I read the book as a child, and I was saddened to see how americanized they made it. They lost much of the magic with all the noise; the overbearing music, the focus on the battle etc. The acting of the children was stilted and except for the fawn and Witch, the characters appeal left much to be desired. Even Santa looked like a lost old viking rather than who he is. Overall sadly disappointing. I strongly recommend reading the magical story and seeing it unfold in your own mind, it is incomparable..
