Poignant... intense... genuine... special The love between "Haze Grace" (Shailene Woodley) and Augustus (Ansel Elgort) is brutally truthful, brave and remarkable, especially considering their heartwrenching circumstances. It makes you realize even more what one takes for granted every day and how some words will never seem the same, as in "okay." Their story brings hope at the most unexpected times and places and grief as in life itself... The casting is superb including Laura Dern's wonderful and empathic portrayal of Hazel's mom. The story is so well written and captivates your interest throughout every turn, twist, tear and laugh. The film, like the book, (John Green) is a most brilliantly, intellectual and insightful piece of work. Bittersweet, wrought with messages in every metaphor and incredible piece of acting and writing, the film is moved along with grace while captivating you at the same time. Don't miss this superb piece of art!
