Wow, this movie has it all-great acting, great story and human interest, so why did I give it a 6? Well, the movie never used its potential well and this I believe is an issue of directing. I felt flat at the end, much as I felt in the ending of the Hunger Games and I realized that the movie just did not captivate even when very captivating scenes were presented. I enjoyed the civil war expose of racism, greed and oppression and I really liked the effort to create a Free State where everyone is equal and entitled to the benefits of their own labor. That said, I did a lot of wiggling and noticed my seat... a sign that the movie dragged and was quite preachy.
