Excellent movie. Craig and Moora's performances are really good along with a very recognizable supporting cast. It's well paced and entertaining, but I had two problems with it. Firstly, did Fincher have to show the sexual crime in such detail? I know the intent is to make us squirm in our seats, but this was too much. Secondly, Lizbeth's pursuit of Michael's nemesis near the end was far too cinematic and exaggerated. Hope the book was not that contrived too.

The sexual crime is actually an essential focus for making the audience really feel what Lisbeth has gone through in her life. If you watch the swedish version, you may be shocked by how graphic the actual rape scene is in that one. The one by Fincher was very censored and I appreciated that.
