    The Good Lie

The film is a sweet (and yes sometimes silly in an over-indulged American sort of a way), however, its message is beautiful. I vaguely remember the actual events about The Lost Boys and Girls of Sudan (and the ravages of war in their country), so it was good for me to be (film) educated on the subject. The underlying themes of family love, adversity / war, African military coups and the recruitment of child soldiers, and survival - make this film worthwhile.
