This quirky Canadian comedy plays well on the big screen. The film does a great job in making you think that the town of Tickle Head, in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador, is one of the best places to live in Canada. Brendan Gleeson is phenomenal in the film. The movie is cute, funny, and has beautiful cinematography. However, I found the storyline too unrealistic. Had the director and writers spent more time making the circumstances more plausible, the story would have been more effective.
